Hi. I’m Lisa Lacy.
I’m the creator of Daily Sticky. I made Daily Sticky because one day on Reddit I saw a post where someone had made an embroidery journal — so freaking cool and talented. I loved the cute little stitched icons representing each day. But I thought WOW that is a LOT of work. Plus, I can’t design my own icons. That would be hard. Plus, you have to buy all the materials?? Wow. I wish I could do that online... wait a second... one time I took a coding bootcamp and kinda learned how to code. I could make it myself! And so I did! Well, more like I vibe coded it, but whatev.
I started using the journal January 1, 2026. Wow, what good timing. But it was just for me at that point. Two months in I was like wow, I can’t remember why I chose these stickers. I need to add notes. So I did. Also, I needed more stickers. So I added more stickers, but then that crashed the site and I had to compress the shit out of them. And then I was like honestly, this is pretty cool. I should let people use it. So I started showing it to my friends. I don’t think any of them used it, but it got me excited anyway. I kept working on it, tweaking, did a MASSIVE UI overhaul (so pretty now!), designed a bunch of logos, made a freaking Instagram page, created a whole BLOG for it. Wow.
All the while I’m working a full-time job, interviewing for a new job (WHICH I GOT!!!!), going to therapy, running a writing club, hanging out with some super cool friends, and... writing a novel.
Oh yes, did you know I’m writing a novel? WELL I FREAKING AM. NGL this sticker thing has kinda stole the show for a bit and slowed my novel roll. But I’ll get back to it. I’m 53% done at this point, so no way am I giving up. I have a super cool premise, and I’m really proud of my writing, and it’s really exciting.
But so is DAILY STICKY. And maybe I needed just a bit of a creative outlet switch-up for a minute, you know?
Anyway, so that is me. I’m a writer, a coder, a creator. More than anything, I’m a problem solver. I love coming up with ideas and implementing them and making everything so incredibly amazing with my own personal me-ness.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you like Daily Sticky.

P.S. I love how my whole app is "who wants to write long journal entries!!" and then I write a super long journal entry introducing myself. lol. But I'm also up way past my bedtime, which is exactly why I shouldn't make THIS my habit!
